  1. Wow you are a reading machine. I have only managed one so far and am half way through 2 others. Struggling with The Returners is not helping :D

  2. OMG you read 188 last year?! Like asamum said, a reading machine! lol.

You must read so fast. I'm only on my 2nd of the year.

  3. Meep. So far I've only managed to get through one book this year so far. I love this list of yours and am thinking of doing one of my own to keep track of the books I'm reading! Am dying to hear your thoughts about My Name is Memory - have heard nothing but rave reviews for that one!

  4. Emma - A reading machine, HA! More like ENORMOUSLY behind on review books. All of those aside from Sapphire are books I should have read ages ago and hadn't. I just looked up The Returners, whoa, that sounds like a grim book.

The Slowest Bookworm - I don't think I'm a particularly fast reader at all. And the number thing is weird. Last year I had 134, this year I read 188. Not sure why such a difference. I don't know. But I know of loads of other book bloggers who read far more than me and loads who read far less than me. And I love both sets of blogs just as much!

Tammy - I never kept track of the books I read in a year until awhile ago. It seems like such an obvious thing to do now that I am doing it though. My review of My name Is Memory will be up soon, promise :)

  5. Holy crap, you've read more books this year than I have (30, and I'm in the middle of 3)! I don't often find people who do that.
    That's awesome. :)

  7. I agree with you on Painted Caves.
If you haven't read the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon start as soon as you can, in many ways better
    than Auel.

  8. Anon - I actually have the entire Outlander series on my shelves to read. The size of the books and the series are putting me off, but I'm glad to hear another recommendation for them!
